This is a strong synthesis of three dynamics that are usually analyzed separately: global liquidity cycles, semiconductor concentration, and energy security.

One additional layer worth considering is that the AI supply chain is not just technologically concentrated but geographically energy-constrained. Korea’s fabs depend on imported energy while Taiwan’s depend on imported fuel and water-intensive infrastructure. Both sit inside fragile maritime corridors.

If energy insecurity becomes persistent rather than episodic, the real question may not be AI demand but whether the physical infrastructure that powers the AI stack can scale under geopolitical constraints.
